The Estate Finish Collection

Premier Finish Process. Medallion's hand-applied stains and varnishes create a finish which is beautiful, easy-to-clean and durable. Select from among rich stains, lively glazes, or antique paints which add character to your cabinetry.
Glaze Finishes (Frost or Burnished) Our glazing technique is a multi-step process which adds depth to the base finish color and highlights profiles and grain patterns in doors and moldings. This process enhances the details of the door style and adds a patina to the overall finish.
Vintage Paint Finish A multi-step painted finish which adds the patina and general characteristics of age to painted cabinetry.
Heirloom Paint Finish A multi-step painted finish which creates the appearance of wear and the patina of an heirloom furniture piece.
Classic Paint Finish An enamel painted finish with lustrous color and solid coverage.
Specialty Finishes Vineyard, Pinot Noir and the Coastal Collection are considered Specialty Finishes. Vineyard is a multi-step finish process consisting of a deep red finish accented by a black brush glazed finish. Pinot Noir is a multi-step duotone finish process that includes a deep red, semi-opaque base finish covered by an opaque black finish which is then hand rubbed and worn in various areas exposing the base finish as an accent. The Coastal Collection includes White Sand, Sundance, Seagrass and Islander. These finishes are semi-transparent pigmented stains with a light dry-brushed accent. The color washed finish allows the wood character and tone to show.
Antique Distressed Finish Antique Distressing is a finish process created by lightly distressing the wood for a subtle worn appearance. Antique Distressing characteristics include sanded corners/profiles of doors and drawer fronts, as well as small dings and dents. Antique Distressing is only available in our Designer Gold line and must be ordered in a Glaze Burnished or Ebony finish.
Legacy Distressed Finish Legacy Distressing is a finish process created by physically distressing the wood for an aged appearance. Legacy Distressing characteristics include sanded corners/profiles, small dings and dents, rasping, worm holes, chisel marks and knife splits.
